What is the difference between the XR-125 semi-automatic and manual transmission?
The main difference is how you operate the clutch.
- Semi-Automatic: You still shift through gears using your foot pedal, but there is no hand clutch lever on the handlebars. An automatic clutch handles the engagement for you whenever you shift or stop, making it virtually impossible to stall. This version is ideal for beginners focusing on steering and balance without worrying about stalling.
- Manual Transmission: Features a traditional hand clutch lever on the handlebar. The rider must manually pull the clutch lever to disengage power when shifting gears or stopping. This version gives experienced riders total control over power delivery and acceleration.

The XR-125 features 2 transmission options: 4-speed semi-automatic or 4-speed manual transmission with a hand clutch. While beginners can learn on either, the semi-automatic is more beginner friendly whereas the manual transmission it is best suited for riders who already have basic riding experience or confident teens ready to learn manual clutch control.
Is the Coolster XR-125 delivered fully assembled or partially assembled?
We offer two convenient options for your vehicle's delivery:
You can choose Partially Assembled, where the unit arrives 85-90% complete in a protective box (requiring you to install the handlebars, wheels, and tightening all nuts and bolts).
Alternatively, you can select our Professional Full Assembly Service at checkout. With this option, our technicians fully assemble, test, and prep the vehicle so it is ready to ride the moment it arrives (just add fuel).
How long will it take to get my orders?
Orders typically arrive within 7-12 business days. All orders ship via specialized freight carriers to ensure your vehicle arrives safely. Once your unit ships, the freight provider will call you directly to schedule a delivery appointment.
Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email. Respond to that email with the receiver' name, number and shipping address. From there, our shipper will contact the receiver to coordinate the delivery. An adult is required to sign off when receiving the shipment.
